We were especially excited about this Navy retirement gift, not only because of the significance of the customers years of honorable service, but also because of the unique custom features. This trunk comes with our new custom sliding tray. It also comes with custom artwork on the front!

After some discussion and time to think this customer decided to add his own artwork to the front, this really gives the trunk a unique and personal feel. The sliding tray turned out better than could have been expected and will be an addition that we will continue to encourage our customers to request in the future. The tray is a shadowbox, custom coin holder and a flag display box all in one! The finished product is is truly a sight to see. When a custom product is ordered we like to show our customers what process their order is in, from start to finish. Just another way to show our customers our dedication!

About this custom project . . . 

Relic Wood created this custom USAF keepsake box to be presented to MSgt Knight at his retirement ceremony. It was made completely by hand right here in the United States.

This custom Air Force gift features the MSgt insignia on either side of the stylized US Air Force wings on the keepsake box top.

It also featured the Master Level Air Force Maintenance Badge. On the maintenance badge, the falcon symbolizes the airborne strength possessed by the Air Force. That strength is made possible by the maintenance of aircraft, munitions, and communications-electronics equipment. In its talons, the falcon is holding a bomb and a generic 21st century aircraft. They are crossed to show the interrelationship of the career fields.

The three levels of the award are signified by the addition of a star centered above the falcon for the senior level and the star surrounded by an olive wreath for the master level. MSgt Knight had achieved the Master Level through a lot of hard work and dedication during his career.

The front of the keepsake has the US Air Force text and an engraved brass nameplate with his name, rank, and Air Force service dates. It was an honor for us to have been chosen and trusted to make his retirement gift. We are humbled and we greatly appreciate MSgt Knight’s many years of service to this great nation. We wish him all the best and a very happy retirement.

Just completed and ready for a special someone’s birthday party!

This incredible western theme Ammo Box features the Grand Teton Mountains on the wooden ammo box top and sephia toned macro artwork with cowboy boots, horseshoe and bullwhip.

This box was inspired by a personal family hiking trip up the Paintbrush Canyon trails complete with Cinnamon Bear crossing. Below the photo gallery is a picture of him. Pretty awesome to encounter from a distance.

Wyoming is home to some of the West’s toughest cowboys. It’s not just for looks. It’s a way of life. Take note that the wooden ammo box artwork doesn’t contain a pair of polished up cowboy boots. These boots have seen some time on the cattle drive.

Weighing in at 14 lbs, every Relic Wood ammunition box is designed to be functional and support the weight of 500 shotgun shells.
